Our programmes are designed for leaders at all levels; from junior supervisors and team leaders to heads of department, senior managers and board members. We take into account management activity and strategy at all levels in the organisation.
In our experience it is hugely beneficial when senior management and new team leaders have a common leadership language. A typical Helix management development programme uses John Adair’s Action Centred Leadership™ model as a core framework.
Our programmes use a modular approach over a number of months which allows us to fit training and development activity with the demands of running a business. Working with managers and leaders over a period of time allows participants to learn by doing; to test their people skills, try new techniques and approaches, respond to feedback and to refine and develop their capability and confidence. We use coaching, regular support from our trainers and business based projects to facilitate this experiential learning.
