1. HR & Facilities Team Development Day



The Human Resources (HR) and Facilities teams in the UK had grown in line with the organisation. This growth required the team to re-establish goals and objectives in line with the support and guidance the business needed. Specific objectives were:

  • Improving communications
  • Internal customers / service orientation
  • Supporting each other as a team and understanding the interdependence important between the two teams
  • Having some fun



A one-day session exploring team dynamics based on team theory. In order to ‘get it out of the system’, a facilitated ‘employees’ right to whinge’ session was conducted, followed by an action planning session designed to identify solutions to the organisational issues identified. The session concluded with a ‘competitive sightseeing’ event in Cambridge – great fun for the team.



  • Greater understanding of their role and contribution to team
  • Better understanding of the role and preferences of others in the team
  • Greater collaboration within the team, and with other teams
  • A more robust presentation of capability to the rest of the organisation.
